St. Martin

Day two brought us to Phillipsburg, St. Martin. We spent part of our day hiking along the Natural Pool Trail. This scenic trail follows the coastline from Guana Bay down to Back Bay. Lots of beautiful views as you make your way along the cliffs overlooking the Caribbean towards St. Barts.

Our hike was out and back to a very rocky beach that offered some great beach combing for shells. After our hiking was complete we followed our local hiking guide's recommendation of Taloula Mango's for lunch and libations - excellent local food and tasty drinks.

Hard to beat this scenery as we followed the southeastern coastline of  St. Martin.

The trail head on the north end, just east of Phillipsburg.

Iguana friend!

A beach full of rocks and shells - our turn-around point and snack break.

Happy Hikers!

Shells found on the beach.

Parting shot - coconut Wilson :)
