Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.
Another nice spring day for some gravel riding - posing my bike at the Hico photo stop before we headed down the road. Yesterday's ride to Hico was on roads we had traveled before - today we ride new roads that we have not ventured before, plenty of gravel to discover.
Almost 50 miles of riding, taking us predominately west as we work way to Comanche. Today's rest stop was the community of Proctor, offering a small gas station/store with grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.
A very unique steel truss bridge over the North Bosque River - the front bridge edges are offset to adjust for the angle that the bridge crosses the river.
Heather and Nanette just horsing around!
John and Susan posing by an abandoned bridge.
Outside of Proctor, John asks Ronnie to see if there is a way to ride out to Proctor Lake. Heather and I opted just to ride the original route and the others all rode out to Proctor Lake after the rest stop.
Heather looking forward to a long gradual downhill to our rest stop in Proctor.
Closing shot - Bluebonnets just outside of Comanche, Texas.
We are retired, live/travel full-time in a travel trailer, and enjoy the outdoors.
