Yesterday we decided to avoid the smoke form the nearby Spring Fire and go south into the mountains to hike the West Spanish Peak Trail. Heather and I hiked to the top of the treeline and then I continued solo to the top of West Spanish Peak - 13,625'
I had a few light snow flurries at the top and enjoyed the spectacular views. It was a very tough scramble to the top - very rewarding once I got up there. Looking forward to future hikes like this!
